correction please it's pepi not pipi. i experienced minor delays before. i have not read the new payment scheme until now. i called writers.ph as to why they are doing this? especially with a part-time writers like me. i only have $26.60 for my next salary payment. i asked them whay would they deduct $15 from my hard earned money??? now, i would only get $11.60? the operator said she will call me back and that she will forward my concern to their main company. in the meantime, i sent them a message online regarding my complaints.
she called me back after half and hour. she explained to me that the $400 was now reduced to $50 which means i would not be able to get my $26.60 not until i reach the full amount of $50 for the payment to be processed. out of that $50 i would only get $35. the problem is that even before this new payment scheme i get a total deduction of $6.30 every salary payment. so now, i'm looking at $21.30 worth of deductions.
i haven't been writing lately. it seems that i don't have any other means to find a writing job that's why i can't quit. i've sent my resume to topnotchwriters.com and i got accepted the problem is until now they are not forwarding any orders.

@writerPHscam---- no, i am not one of them. i just have a diffrent way of handling things. i deal with them professionally by writing formal complaints. i would call their office and speak to them regarding my concerns. i got paid three times with deductions here and there. they pay me maybe because it's only at a minimum? i don't know. i gave them the correct details regarding my bank account and so far i get paid through that with a 3-5 days delay.

Ask your bank Kian. They'll give you those information if you'll give them a call.

I have worked for EW for more than a year(off and on) and had my fair share of ultra delayed payments; allegations for plagiarized work (resolved after a lengthy written discussion point by point); supposedly cancelled orders with different reasons; manipulated orders, etc..you name, it I have it!
After I encountered problems with Academia in the past, I vowed that I should hunt this big time essay fraudsters. Although I worked less, I made it a point to gather as much evidence I can get from them upon the advice of a moderator from another site.
If anyone is interested, do let me know.
Another important matter is the bank charge issue. EW has apparently set up a satellite office in Luzon, Philippines. This coincided with the information given to me by my bank that remittances to my account no longer came from another nook on earth but right here in my own country.
If this is the case..then they ripped Filipino writers with the $15 bank transfer charges! It only takes 100 peso max -- nothing (BDO and Unionbank) to send money inter-branch!
The Filipino counterpart therefore has a lot to answer!
I am also sending the rest of the hard copies as proof to EW's domain server. I have filed a written complaint and an aunt based in Arizona will handcarry the facts to a family member who is interested; whom I have also given my Special Power of Attorney.
EW is holding around $157 from my salary, although charges were purportedly and illegally added up. This is a measly sum in exchange for all the trouble but the question is no longer money--it is the principle behind every scam committed to writers!

@momosigh---- it's pepi not pipi. i haven't gone to their office in makati yet. i got paid three times. i still have $32.00 unpaid salary. i don't think they will pay me soon since they have a new policy that is, you have to write at least a total of $50. i got tired, i'm not writing anymore since i'll just be writing for the $15 deduction every pay check. before i used to write one article a day for a $5 or $7 paper. it's just too much now. i don't know if you can call that scamming since they paid me before but with this exorbitant deduction, it just makes me stop and think.
you can call writers.ph at 856-1781. the company's address is 2nd flr. executive bldg., makati ave., makati city.
good luck!

Hi
Has anybody tried going to their main site yet? I don't know with the others but since last October until now, I am still writing for them. I do get delayed pay checks but they do come.
Are there others who still write for writers.ph?
Thanks

Hi Do not plagiarize and make sure you follow the instructions of the client biodata: never mind the delays and deductions, i can do way with it With the delays, I'm not sure but I know they are doing their best to prevent it. On the other hand, the deductions are inevitable especially if you are doing all sorts of plagiarism. That's all I guess

I've been reading the forum posts and I've become disheartened about applying at writers.ph. How delayed are the payments exactly? How do they prove the plagiarism? Or do they just make that up to dock part of your pay?
Btw, am a full-time working mom writing part-time for business outsource companies. I'm hoping this forum will prove a big help.
