Is writers.ph an extension of essaywriters.net?

Here's what I can tell you, Imee. Essaywriter.Net and Writers.PH are sister companies. I work for both. Well, not exactly. I just sort of "pretended" to so I could get more info as, apparently, they just don't stop.
In case you talk to an online rep named Susan, you call her Yulia coz that's her real.. Ukrainian.. name. Don't let Yulia, Andrew(?), & Irene(?) fool you with those "bank change" nonsense as an excuse for the late payout. You don't change banks every payday.
Essaywriters.Net (which receives its orders from Superiorpapers.com, Universalresearch.net, etc) is owned by Olga and Yuri Mizyuk. And they're not from Hendon, VA. Hahahaha. As you can see, they are losing more and more American writers. So they thought, "HEY WHY NOT TRY PHILIPPINES?"
So here they are with Writers.PH. They think Filipinos wouldn't care if they get paid $11 for working their *** off a 4-page order, while Mizyuk enjoys a $25 profit. You are right, they get 7/8, we get 1/8. They also apparently think that Filipinos wouldn't mind or wouldn't know what to do if they delay the payouts the way they normally do.
Mizyuk and company, we know you're in Ukraine. Ok? You use VOIP. You have over 10 phone numbers with US area codes. These numbers are programmed into phone adapters that you can take with you in Ukraine so if people call you up, it's like they are talking to you within the US.
Mizyuk and company, I suggest you do your role. Give your writers what they've worked hard for.
I have connections here in the US and in Ukraine. Anytime soon you will be kissing a big-time judge's ***.
For now, let me tell you that WE ARE WATCHING YOU.
Yulia, RESIGN. You are working for a fraud company. Do it dear. We know who you are. You seem nice and I personally want to protect you.

Now there's a big boy. I haven't been paid yet and I'm not too happy about it as well but I don't think your ramblings help any of us here who are waiting to be paid. For the record, it's not 1/8 vs 7/8. While it's true that a lot of orders are priced at $2 a page, it's usually up'ed to as much as $10 if you wait long enough.

So, okay, everyone's waiting to get paid. I hope we all get paid this week.
Anyway, I don't think writers get only 1/8 of the price. I was able to get a $14/page order; sometimes $26 if it's math-related.

Hi, I checked bestessays and superioressays prices and they charge $10 per page, and then when I checked with writers they only pay the writers $1.4... I think that's lower than 1/8.
I haven't been paid. :(

$1.4/page? That's very low.

Quoting: margie $1.4/page? That's very low. See? That's very low. It's bad enough that they are scamming the writers and they don't pay on time (if they ever pay at all). I tried applying to another company but it turns out he is getting his orders from essaywriters.net ahahah! and he pays in peso, which is lower than the actual rate of course to generate an income for him. Quite a character.

NO NO NO~ DO NOT WORK FOR WRITERS.PH
Let me tell you about the sad case of my friend who worked there...
she is now waiting for and check this $574.90 and $ 61.40 from her work for dec 15 to Dec 30.
she was terminated before the end of dec 30 because of her handler. she was absent a day after christmas. they used this as an excuse to "let her go"
apparently, using all capital letters for writing to customer support was one of the things also hahahaha CITED as a reason to terminate her.
but be that the case, my friend is entitled to her earnings. What is even sadder is that she already had earnings up to March 2008. the amount quoted above is only for two weeks of work.
she wrote very well, thank you....
We're going to the police soon. We can't get to the Mizyuks (get it? the Miss Yucks) but we can get to their Filipino dogs...yes, they are dogs. Dogs acting like managers and handlers.
don't heed this warning and be sorry you didn't.
thanks. y'all have a nice day.

Hi! I'm also working for writers.ph. Did you get your payment from them? I was supposed to get it this Jan 1-3.
The original payment term stated in my profile was through xoom (since it is included in the payment options). When I asked about the delay, they told me that they already forwarded my payment details to their accounting department, for verification. So, I told them that it's okay and then I asked for an estimated pay date. They then told me that they can't give me that info, but they are trying to hasten the process.
And so, I gave them additional information about my bank details, with the hope that it can help them, somehow.
The next time I checked my account, they altered my profile and changed the payment details from "xoom.com" to "Wire Transfer to Philippines". I then keyed in new details for the Wire Transfer, and sent them a message asking for advise regarding which payment option was the best.
They then told me that xoom.com is no longer a payment option for writers in the Philippines. So, apparently the only option I have is the Wire Transfer. Aside from that, I 'm back to where I started- waiting for the accounting department to verify my payment details.
I don't know if this whole process is part of a scam or not. Is it? How many of you have been paid by writers.ph? And, can you possibly tell me how many days will it take the accounting dept to verify the details, based on your experience? Thanks so much. Answers will be very appreciated!

Hi Cas, i'm sorry to hear that but hey that's their strategy. I worked as an office based writer of writers.ph before but i was terminated because of so called 'quality issues.' On my first two weeks we were working at the internet cafe in 168 in makati ave., duh?! internet cafe?! And on my third week we transferred to their so-called 'office' or let me say the 'hell's office' that at 5pm the aircon is already turned off. Before the 15th of December 2007, the big guy who is the 'rakista' told us that we will receive our salaries thru zoom so we should update it. Okay. But when the 15th came, nobodys telling us that it would came late until one of my teammates compalined. On December 17th 2007, i began receiving plagiarism complaints. For three weeks i don't have plagiarism record. On December 19th, i received a message from 'quality assurance department' in reading between the lines; i am terminated and that my salary is put on hold. It ain't funny. On December 20th I received eight thousand pesos from them-- just a piece of my hardwork. The big bucks that i am expecting this 5th of january 2008 had gone as the wind blows. It moved to march 2008. It does mean i won't receive any single penny from them for almost three months. How pathetic. In return, i want to see them behind the bars. Put them in jail! They are scammers! They should not be doing this to their countrymen in exchange of big bucks!! I'll se you soon.

This is the message i got from them last Dec19, 2007:
We are sorry to inform you that we have detected plagiarism in your paper(s). Please feel free to view the plagiarism report at your account on Writers.ph. As you know our company does not accept any form of plagiarism. Our mission is to provide our clients with 100% original writing. Unfortunately we have to terminate the payments for your plagiarized orders according to our Policy.
We also have to check all the papers with anti-plagiarism software. It takes time and effort. Our team is doing its best to speed up the process.
You will receive payments for: - checked and non-plagiarized orders, - orders with no money back requests from clients within three months period.
You are free to check your papers for plagiarism by yourself. That will greatly help us to speed up the process. You can do it by opening an account at TurnItIn.com or MydropBox.com. You will upload your papers there and then provide us with the full access to your account so that we can view the plagiarism reports on your papers.
We encourage you to check your account regularly to be aware of system updates, new emails and your current status. After the check is completed and we find insignificant amount of plagiarism we will review your status and resume payments for orders without any holds.
We appreciate your working with us and hope for a long-term and fruitful cooperation and hope for your understanding.
Quality Assurance Department.

I have been writing for writers.ph for almost a month now. I have not received my first pay check. Last time I checked the company said that they already wired my first salary. I have to check my bank account this coming week if it's true because as of yesterday I have no transactions yet.
I was surprised to find out that my work last January 2, 2008 is under investigattion. I sent them a message as to why. They told me that the qualty assuarance department detected plagiarism on my work. I reasoned to them that since it's a summary of a book clearly the ideas I wrote was not entirely mine but that of the author's that is the reason why I cited the author's name and date of publication on every sentence and paragraph I wrote. They sent me a message saying "this is noted".
I'm sure that they will deduct half of it from my next salary and it would be moved in two to three months.

And, can you possibly tell me how many days will it take the accounting dept to verify the details, based on your experience? this is my friend's personal page on being scammed by Writers.PH. how much were you expecting. kiss goodbye to what you were expecting. like we've kissed our earnings goodbye. but its not just my friend who was terminated for being 'rude' i was rude and pointed a finger at my manager for telling me about plagiarism last october. but i was paid, once. this friend of mine was also paid once.and just like victim writer what was paid was a fraction of what she was saving up for. i dare you to click this link. 4 Jan 2008 Francess Raymundo - http://FranckeskaRaymundo.spaces.live.com/

what's funny, is that she has a text message from her manager saying,
" Why, don't you want it? " and a " Why, don't you want this?"
so its not just the system that was flawed. the manager was some kind of flawed character dude as well.
this is why she was primarily fired. there was innuendo in those messages and he was stupid enough to admit on a taped conversation that that number used to be his number...if it was so easy for them to scam her, its going to very easy to be vindicated
uhh, the she's a me a her here.
i can't help but also get the feeling that what was professional was to take responsibility for choosing to be personal even if he couldn't make a follow thru for it and not take it out, professionaly, meaning, stealing and scamming someone's means of livelihood for the moment.
or yeah, i was terminated, but you know why, really...don't block payment of my earnings when it is just going to go on and on until we all get our earnings.
victim writer may be thin and looks harmless, but i've seen her angry and she wants blood! :-)
and the police told me, when i showed them the messages i sent to the office when customer support did nothing but badger me with calls the day after christmas, when our manager promised us that we wouldn't be bothered by support at home to avoid any problems with support, and the police said, " that's just alright." ( in the vernacular)
they actually understood my situation. if they were truly scammers, and they are, serves them right.

it supposed to be my first payment of $100. i did not take a lot of projects because i wasn't sure if they would really pay me.
i don't want to antagonize them at this pont because they might hold my earnings. i'll wait this week for the wire transfer. if i don't get my payment this week, i'll go to the writers.ph's office in makati.

Hi
I have been working in writers ph for about 4 months now and honestly, they are always delayed from their pay-outs but they do pay. I have not encountered any unpaid orders, and for those of you who are complaining of not getting paid, please read the rules and regulations. It is true that you can get fired if you reached a specific rate of plagiarism, which is the general rule of all writers.
In case of termination, they pay the last amount of orders minus the complaints and plagiarism fines after 3 months.
They suspend and automatically fire those writers who duplicate their former write ups or have accumulated considerable rates of negative comments and plagiarism.
Thank you

@cas i got my first salary today.it's not much but i'm happy i got paid.
i would take a maximum order amounting to $150 and that's it. although they are paying at a minimum for a 3 page paper. still, it's better than nothing.
