Thanks to whomever posted info about Custompapers.com - I ordered a rush research paper from them and got it on time, well written, and not plagiarized (manually checked by myself ;-).

I think it is kinds sketchy that they dont have an answering service. The only way to contact them is though leaving voicemails or via email.

Plus it is also hard to tell who is legit in these forums. I have noticed in a few places where it looks like people from the Websites post good things about their site and try and diminish the credibility of their competion.

Oh yes, i just want to mention that i was also scammed by affordabletermpaper.com. They gave me back a paper on time but not cited, choppy, definatly plagerized!, and when i asked them to revise it they just changed 1 source that i looked up and it didnt even match the material so i asked for a refund and of course they tricked me. They said because they revised it they would not refund my paper. A waste of $140!!!

You're not the only one who has been scammed!

I agree that anyone could sign up and say that one company is great and the others useless. It pays to be a little careful and read several posts - if someone is just going on about one site - either positively or negatively- then I would be dubious about what they are saying.

I have actually placed an order with custompapers.com just yesterday - not for a paper but an application I am making. I haven't had the work yet (it's due Friday) so can't tell you what the work is like from firsthand experience. I'll post again when I get it.

I have had a couple of good papers from ukessays.com (and also one very poor one from them - 38%!!), and I've also used oxbridgeessays.com who were fine. Both these companies are expensive though and I'm not totally convinced that I get good value for money (especially for the 38% paper!).

With American sites, apart from my current order with custompapers.com, I have also used paperstore.com and junglepage.com. Paperstore were appalling in my experience - the paper missed the topic completely and the customer service was poor (the 24 hr rewrite turned up a week late and wasn't worth waiting for). Junglepage.com were a slight improvement on paperstore.com but the original paper (not a rewrite) was a day late and, in my opinion, was more high school than college standard so I was disappointed overall.

I hope you find a company that helps you, and post your experiences when you do :)

I've just done a simple test - I emailed CustomPapers.com support (support@custompapers.com) and asked this question:

"There are so many different sites and offer even better prices than your site (I included a list of 10 sites that offer $10 pp deals). What makes you different from them and why should I believe you?"

Within an hour I received a reply (below) which makes me think they are legitimate and I think I'll give them a try.

What I noticed about these sites is that their papers are less than $10/page!! That makes me very concerned. I used to be a writer before becoming a project coordinator. Initially I worked for many different companies, then finally became a full-time writer here at CustomPapers. Why? Because I was paid a *fair* wage and treated well! I could email clients, ask them questions, and when I needed help finding a source, the project coordinators were always there for me.

Think about this, if you pay less than $50 for a five-page paper, how long does it take to do the research and then write that paper? Seven or eight hours, maybe less if someone is fast. Then the company takes their cut and the writer makes $4 or $5 an hour! Who can afford to live on that? The answer is: writers from countries like Pakistan and the Philippines who are speaking English as a second language (either that or the company that hires them is re-selling the same papers over and over). We know their sites say that they have writers with PhDs, but how many people in the U.S. with doctorates would work for $5/hour? Not many, I think.

I've been a little unkind I know, but even if you don't choose to work with CustomPapers.com I want to caution you not to work with such companies. Their writers occasionally send us resumes and inquiry letters (because we pay a fair wage) but we simply can't hire them because their skills are not up to par.

I think custompapers.com are okay - based on other client's testimony - I've placed an order with them that is due on Friday so I'll be able to say for sure after that.

I'd be very careful though about thinking any site that responds to your question in a well-written reply is automatically okay. I got scammed by a UK based essay company (1stclassprojects.com) and was taken in by the emails I received that promised attentive customer service and a customized essay written by an expert in my subject. The emails were tailored to my specific questions, detailed, and well written and they made the company appear very credible. The essay I got was just random paragraphs of plagiarised text, that bore little relation to the topic that I requested, and the rewrites promised didn't exist; I lost almost $500.

With any big or important purchase, it pays to do a bit of research. Check this site, and similar ones that exist - but beware of any post that seems to promote one company as the poster may well be from that company! Talk to your friends - even if you want to hide the fact it is you that needs the essay (a friend of mine needs help with a paper ... have you heard of a good company that I could tell him / her about or companies to avoid).

Finally, if you've had a bad experience then spread the word so that no-one else gets scammed.

FYI I sent my inquiry to several competing websites (the ones I selected to order from) - as I always do before I pay somebody money - and I only received a reply from Custompapers.com

That's great, but my point is that just because they replied doesn't make them okay. I think in this case they are okay - I'm waiting til Friday til I get my order from them to know for sure but I'm confident about them from what I've heard so far.

I wasn't criticizing you, just pointing out to other readers that it is still possible to get badly scammed by a company that has a good looking website, phone lines, and sends personalised and reassuring emails! As the customers are getting more savvy and street-wise, so the scammers are realizing that they have to do more to get your business.

Hi guys, Well i received my paper the day before it was agreed and it was excellant. The only problem was a few american statitis used but i had a paper written myself before i contactedthem and was able to mix each one around. I tried to call two websites (ukessays.com and bestessay.com I think) that have "answering service" and let me tell you - it was just a waste of time. The answering persons (IF there's someone there available to answer using good English) had no idea what I was talking about -- she told me to fill out the contact form first. I think people who answer calls have no idea about writing papers - and if you don't have any ref# or something they won't help you in anything. I prefer to use email only - that way I always have hard proof.

I totally agree about using email not phone. I've been scammed by an essay company but got my money back from my credit card company because I could prove everything - i.e. what I'd ordered wasn't what I received and all the attempts i'd made to try and get the matter sorted.

I have used custompapers.com (korepetycje) twice and the essays I got were good quality on both occasions. I've also used ukessays.com once and that essay was fine but the cost was high compared to custompapers.com and i felt that the standard was very similar. Another person I've used is 'BusMgtDoctor' on kasamba.com - the quality and price were good but this is a person and not a company so if she's working on other projects she won't take on extra work - she does tell you upfront though that she won't be able to give you a quote as she's too busy with existing orders so it's not like she messes you about or anything.

Hi all. I contacted essaytown two days ago with an assignment. I got an average quotation. they said they would reply within 12 hours whether my credit card payment would be excepted, iam still waiting. It is only a term paper that i have already outlined myself but iam trying to find out now what is the best site in order to do my research project next year (I hate research, and as i work three nights a week during college semester, i wont have the time but i'll have the money to hopefully get a good paper. Does any of you have good experiance with essaytown or another site or should i just stay with custompapers as the last paper i got of them was brill.

Hi guys, i received my assignment from custompapers.com last week. It was brilliant and a day early (better again). I have sent another assignment to essaytown now to see what their work is like. Iam trying to find the best site out of all of these in order to assist me next year with my research paper(i hate research and as iam working three nights a week while attending college, i have the money but not the time so iam as well to invest the money in my last year of college.... i will be back here later and let you know if i hear anything new,

Hi all. i enabled all my spam and juke mail so that i can receive emails from essaytown as they had recommended me to do so. I received emails from them to say they could first do my assignment and a second email to quote price, once i agreed and filled in my details including credit card details, i haven t received anything from them! I checked my credit card balance on nternet and no money has been taken from same. I emailed them earlier today to cancel order as i need assignment as soon as possible so i hope to hear from them soon. I will let you all know how i get on,
