I'm thinking of using Totalessay.com or evolutionwriters.net... but I can't find any reviews on the net.
What do you guys think?
also, I know your not allowed to recommend any due to forum policies... but if someone can please point me in the right direction of a legit essay writing company I'd be very thankful. It seems everywhere I look are "scam" accusations.

Hi there!
I'm new to the forum. I recently got interested in researching a legit essay writing company because I got ripped off by evolutionwriters.com.
It was a horrible essay with mistake anyone in their first year at college or uni could have avoided (abbreviated isn't for example), very incoherent structure throughout as well as faulty referencing (they made a habit out of writing a whole paragraph with no quotes whatsoever and put the source at the end of the paragraph). Moreover, -- and this bothered me the most --it seemed as if it had been written by several people and I had to put in a lot more work in order to fix it and render the writing style coherent.
Well, I won't order from them again, that's for sure :p
(oh, and it wasn't cheap. 150 bucks)

I'm not saying the paper you received wasn't crap--it almost certainly was--but this is actually completely acceptable: if all of the information contained in a given paragraph came from the same source and no direct quotes are taken from the source, citing them once at the end of the paragraph is actually preferred by some instructors and in keeping with established standards.
Now, if this is the only way any citations were made it would be a problem, and clearly it is not the only issue you had with the paper. In and of itself, however, this is actually proper.

I almost never use direct quotes in any of my work, and I think there would be a lot of complaints on here if all I did was send people wikipedia articles. Sorry business sucks so much that you have to come here and lie--maybe if you ran a legitimate business you could afford to hang onto good writers, assh*le.

Yeah, that's true. It wouldn't have passed as is, though. I'm pretty certain my instructor would have had some issues with that referencing :)
In retrospect, having read a lot of these posts, I realize that I wasn't even that bad off. My essay passed the plagiarism checks and, thus, must have been written from scratch. So, yay for me, I guess :D

one more review
evolutionwriters.net is not very good. They did write the essay from scratch, however, they had horrible grammar and spelling. I have included an excerpt below, you can see for yourself. Once I corrected it, it passed, though :D

Their webcopy and their prices (way too low for any writer living in the US/UK) should have been a clear warning.

i tried totalessay.com a while ago thinking that it would help me heaps, the amount of grammatical errors in that thing, wouldnt even call it an essay was shocking. well i failed that essay, but work my butt off for the exam and still passed the subject thank god. no matter how many reviews you read you can still get scammed
