Hi there,
i am thinking about using a writing service.
Up to now i have not read any bad comments or seen any complaints about the quality of their work or their service. Does anyone have bad experiences with this company?
Would be very happy about help!!!
Best regards
A

Here is a bad comment - there may be a person who might have had bad experience about them. But that won't tell you anything, will it?:)

Hey major...
of course it would help me! So i would know that they are not reliable! Can you tell me if they are good or are they cheating as well? What is your experience?
Best regards

But would you really rely on an anonymous post?
Here are the "profiles" of the forum users who visit and post here or on similar websites.
A. [Angry] lurkers. They usually already have their favorite essay writing websites they or their friends use. But they still come here from time to time to see "what's up."
They would start posting only if their favorite website failed to meet their expectations. Then they would only mention or shout a negative experience, which may account for only a very small percentage of the total experience.
B. Fake advertisers. They would post as a happy client who has used a particular service and recommends it to others.
C. Malicious company owners/representatives. They would post a negative experience about other writing services without providing a proof of the alleged fault.
D. Genuine users who have first-hand experience with the particular service and who can objectively describe their experience (whether positive or negative).
Regarding your question, I've never used them (I personally don't use such services). But expect to hear from one of the profiles soon -- hopefully you'll be lucky to hear from a D-profile member ;).
My general idea - contact the service you may be interested in and judge them yourself by their comments, response time, politeness, etc.

awww major... you missed category "E" : cool writers who hang out on the board b/c this is what they do and who try to give realistic assessments of the industry overall.
westD, in reality, it's nearly impossible to find a company with zero negative comments. if you haven't found one, then you probably haven't looked hard enough. but finding one bad comment wouldn't make them a bad company either.
every business is going to make some clients mad, it's inevitable. boards like this one are best for pointing out egregious problems involving a history of bad experiences and fraudulent activities but the recommendations or lack of criticisms won't ever guarantee a good experience. angry lurkers can shred a company's reputation but a positive comment or two doesn't rebuild it and invariably end up suspect. of course, how many businesses can you think of with 100% customer service approval?

Quoting: Lavinia awww major... you missed category "E" : cool writers Oops, sorry - you're right. ;)
Quoting: Lavinia f course, how many businesses can you think of with 100% customer service approval? That's a good question. If a company has one client a month and s/he is very happy with their product/service, the "approval" rate is 100%. With 100 customers a month there's no way to satisfy everybody.
This reminds me of a similar situation with Google - yet a few years ago their "approval" rate was very high; now, due to privacy concerns, they are not as popular as before. But it doesn't mean people will stop using them :).

Major, you are right, but there are some writingservices that are total crapp and some reliable companies. They have worked since years very properly and their standard is high. Like in every industry!
Lavinia, i spent a lot of time in researching which companies seem to be good and which seem to be bad. I never used a service like this before and so i need some help. And i thought a community like this could help me! I found out that there some horrible companies like bestessays.com etc and some seem to have received good critique in general. The good ones seem to be: ukessays.co.uk and custompapers.com. What do you think? And which one do you think is offering the best quality in writing?
I am writing my own essay, but i would like to get some input from external professionals to improve my performance. Generating new ideas, etc...
I would be happy if you could help me.

Major: The good ones seem to be: ukessays.co.uk and custompapers.com. What do you think? And which one do you think is offering the best quality in writing? There're no shortcuts - you still ask me what I think even though I don't use such services. ;)
My advice - contact each of them and then you'll get the best initial idea about who they are and what they may represent.
Better yet - send them an email:
"Hi, I'm interested in your services. Could you call me at **** because I'd like to hear what you have to offer."
There's a general rule of thumb that a crappy company hires crappy/incompetent customer service people, so your initial "test" should tell you a lot.

Yes, you are right! But a quick reply is only ahint. Why should i make bad experiences if i can avoid it by asking people in this community!
So can somebody tell me about his/her experiences with the mentioned company?

When I order something and send a pre-sale inquiry AND receive a thoughtful and fast response, then - I assume - there are better chances to receive timely support in case of problems.

WestD, even if you don't totally agree with Major's logic, you are probably better off contacting all three as Major suggested because of the time of year. I know a lot of us are seriously booked during busy season and companies do have to turn down requests when they can't find writers. they could all three be great but if only one can meet your demands and deadline, then the choice is sort of easy.
remember too: contacting them doesn't obligate you to use their services. there is really no harm to sending out queries.

Quoting: Westd So can somebody tell me about his/her experiences with the mentioned company? I could register a new username, contact the companies you inquire about and ask about their affiliate program and commission rate if I promote them and you end up ordering from one of them ;).
Anyway, here are the things you need to understand when choosing an essay writing service.
1. Essay writing company is as good as the worst writer of that company.
When ordering an essay your main concern should be how good YOUR assigned writer is. The company itself does not write essays for you, ONE writer does.
2. 99% of all essay writing companies (or all of them) hire freelance writers.
That means the writers do not work in the company's office - they work from home. Otherwise, you'd have to pay $80 per page or more.
-------- If you remember these two points, you will realize how important the customer service is for an essay writing company. Moreover, I can go as far that I can say a good customer service/competent coordinators are the most important people of an essay writing company.
In case of a problem, the customer service people are the ones that can help you resolve the problem. If your writer's computer breaks down, what do you do? - you email the customer service and ask for help. If your project is late or does not meet your instructions, what do you do? - you email the customer service to help you out.
Now, if you claim response-time or competence are not important, you may change your mind when something goes wrong. A good customer service, in case of a problem, can reassign your project to another writer. But if they are unresponsive, incompetent, or slow, you are out of luck :)
