New Wave of Spammers - does it actually work?

Is it just me, or are we experiencing an increase in the number of bogus accounts being set up and used to various silly (and forum-banned) activities?

Yesterday's exposure of Lee41,Sue2008, and all of her(his?) other aliases is one example; folks like J_richardson, jack2007, and angel21 also make me wonder. Seems their general m.o. is to find a thread about a rival company (assuming that these are fraudster employees/admin of scam companies) and post a meaningless and brief accusation to bump that thread up (they are usually weeks old), and soon to start recommending their own company.

Question to the spammers:

Does this actually work? Do you really see climb in business after employing these tactics, or are your just wasting your time along with everyone else's?

Question for everyone else:

Am I the only one noticing this increase? Is there anything we can do about it?

Mod, I'm sure that, by now, you know that the following usernames are associated with the same person/group:

angel121
Emma_H
J_richardson
jack007
Lee41
lionking

Can you please ban them, along with any associated IPs and accounts? I think that all legit members would appreciate it.

I've decided to order from EssayTown. You seem very good. Can I request you personally as a writer?

Worried-

In an earlier post, you claim to be anxiously awaiting an order from Essay Town, Here, you have "decided" to order from them. Please explain how that makes sense.

What I should have said is that I feel good about ordering from them now that I've heard all the good things you said. my bad. sorry misspoke. I had 2 other orders from them before that were superb! really good! But I also have 2 other orders that are due today. I feel better now, that I will get them tomorrow. How do you request a writer at Essay Town? I would like to request you. These 2 papers are really important.

What does this even mean?

These idiots (like yourself) are taking up time and space on a forum I visit regularly. That kind of makes it my business.

Salazar - your use of English makes my eyes bleed. Learn the language, you pathetic ignoramus. Knowledge of English is a prerequisite to using it.

Is there any website where we can check if we meet the requirements?
