I received my essay back on time, but the quality was rubbish. I paid double for a first class, the essay was 53%. When the writer sent it to me the first time, it was littered with spelling and grammar mistakes and had missed out all the relevant information. I sent it back for him/her to make amendments, he replied asking me for links to information and where I could find the information that he needed to add. I was told that he/she was a specialist in the field, the information I had asked to be added was very basic information, that anyone with a little knowledge on the topic would be aware of, so for a specialist to be asking for the information was ridiculous

hey,
My uncle is currently doing his masters, and he's got a whole load of assignments he needs to get done. we're looking around to see what's available. ivoryresearch say they'll do it for around £800-900 (its an 8000 word assignment). After briefly having a look around, it seems this is too much? could you guys kindly advise on both the cost and the company. if the cost is too high, could you kindly recommend what price you feel would be acceptable.
i think i read there's a website (essaychat?) where you can post your requirements and employ freelancers directly. with this you're obviously cutting out the middle man, but is there any way of checking (/getting a guarantee) the credentials of the writer?

I had a similar experience, I received two absolutely awful pieces of work after having paid over 400 pounds, I would have been embarrassed to present the work to anyone it was a complete joke and did not pay any attention to what I had requested! DO NOT USE IVORY

My own experience with Ivory is that they have been very good. I do not believe they are intentionally trying to scam anyone, its just some bad practice has slipped though the net.

After reading some posts on the company, I thought I would share my experience with ivory research
I have used ivory research 3 times, twice for assignments and once for my dissertation. The first assignment was completed perfectly, with no issues. I was very pleased with the paper I received, so I decided to give them more work.
However, my second order didn't go as smoothly. I requested that my paper be delivered in two parts, and upon receipt of the first half, it was clear the writer didn't understand the topic completely! I contacted ivory research immediately and explained what I was unhappy with, and they then reassigned my work to another writer. I received the new version of the first half three days later, and it was much better, so I gave them the go-ahead to complete the second part, which I received in five days. I really liked the writer that did this paper, so when I ordered my dissertation, I requested the same writer.
When I ordered my dissertation, I arranged to pay in two instalments. They sent me the outline of my dissertation two days after I placed the order - I then proceeded to show it to my supervisor. He said it was good, but suggested some changes. I sent my supervisors comments to my writer and he adapted the outline.
Two weeks after the dissertation outline was produced, I received my literature review and methodology. The writer also composed a questionnaire for me, so I could go out into the field and collect data. I showed my supervisor these sections of my dissertation, and again he was pleased but suggested some changes. He also suggested that I do a focus group instead of questionnaires.
My writer rectified the points my supervisor made immediately and gave me full briefing on the focus group including questions for discussion, respondent selection and he also advised that I record the focus group. My focus group went well, and I sent the recordings to the writer.
The writer sent me the final version of my dissertation a week before the agreed deadline. Once again, I showed my supervisor and thankfully he was pleased with the work. He said that I would get a 2:1 for the dissertation, which was the standard that I paid for. He also provided me with some recommendations for improvement, and said that I would need to attach the transcript of my focus group to the dissertation. I asked ivory research to help me with the transcript and for an additional 40 pounds they typed it for me.
Overall, I would say I have had a good experience with this company. They've been professional and addressed my requests promptly, and any issues I was unhappy with, they fixed really quickly. The name of my writer was Amy Harper and I would highly recommend her.
