Hi, I have a pretty urgent situation that requires a 10 page report on a given marketing trend... Is this too much to ask for an essay writing service to complete in 24 hours?
Has anybody had any experiences where a similar paper was completed within such a short time frame?

Absolutely. This time of year, I have days/nights where I routinely write about two 10-pg essays plus a handful of smaller essays within 24 hours (most recently, yesterday/today). I've probably had to do that about 10 times in the last two months. Just depends on the topic/difficulty.

...and as far as writing a single 10-pg paper goes, I'd say I do that several times a week because that's about how often I do 10-pg papers. That may include a couple of breaks and meals/snacks (etc), but there are very few papers that length that I don't do in one "sitting."

the answer is yes, but the essay will be crap-- either recycled or hurried-- and the price will be jacked thru the roof.

Speak for yourself. Nobody who actually needs 24+ hours to write 10 good pages is any kind of "professional" writer. I don't ever write any "crap" or ever "recycle" anything; if I did, you'd definitely have heard about it right on this forum from my clients and none of them would have used me repeatedly or recommended me to anybody else. As I already said, I write several 10-pg papers every week and I don't think I've ever failed to complete one in a single sitting. I don't charge "jacked" prices either.
Just since my last response to this thread last night I've written 5 pages for commercial services, 2 pages for a (repeat) client on this forum, and I have a 12-pg paper to write overnight tonight, and I wouldn't even consider this a "heavy" work day at all. Right now, I'm watching 60 Minutes and plan to watch most of the Sunday night NFL game afterwards. Neither my deadline nor the quality of that 12-pg paper is going to be an issue; guess it's just a good thing I'm writing it and not you. Thanks for admitting to your limitations though; that was very honest of you.

Just finished the 12 pages in about 5 hours and with time to spare before Howard Stern starts. I'm not expecting the client to be any less happy with this one than she's been with the last dozen or so of her projects I've written in one sitting either. I guess RustyIronChains is about done with writing one page in the same time.

As for the topic, last night was another typical stretch of work for me between midnight and 8:00 AM that we all know (now) would be totally impossible for you even in three times the amount of time it took me: Three papers for a company (13 pages ) and another 4 pages for private clients . Not expecting any complaints about the quality, either.

well FW, I'm glad you like doing people's homework so much, take it so seriously, and are so proud of yourself and your productivity. I am assuming that no one has told you that this isn't a real job, or that no matter how many pages you write, you will still be a loser.

Hey Pal, I just write essays for a living; I do it pretty well, and that explains what I'm doing on this site. I never claimed to be particularly "proud" about anything; philosophically, I don't even believe in pride in the first place, because I happen to think it's purely a function of ego. That's a little off topic though.
I'm just responding honestly to some annoying idiot who needed to proclaim that nobody else could possibly write 10 pages in 24 hours unless it's "crap" work just because you obviously can't do it. Meanwhile, I do it so routinely that I never even gave it much thought until I saw this thread. I already explained that I don't think writing 10 pages in 24 hours is anything "impressive" since I usually write that much in a single sitting. You apparently "dabble" in the exact same occupation as I manage to make a decent living at; you apparently don't do it very well by your own admission; and you waste the precious time you obviously need to write any faster than a sloth moves arguing on a forum for writers and clients of writers.
So who's the "loser"?
