It is not necessary that a company based in a Western country will be more ethical or honest, though it is a reality that the US and the UK based companies do have a better credibility.

I don't think you can decide who is ethical and who is not before actually testing them. I believe we writers live in a constant fear and every company seems to be a fraud and cheat. If this forum is to accuse everyone than i think we are on the right path however, if this forum is to expose those who are involved in unethical practices than i think all of us can enter into a meaningful discussion. Otherwise we will continue to accuse, re-accuse, abuse and humiliate each other rather than contributing constructively to overall welfare of students as well as freelancers.

This is an informal forum therefore if you can abuse and humiliate others, you can write a pathetic english too. May be it is an attempt to test you. By the way, i always take those orders which involve calculations therefore i dont need to put a lot of stress on GRAMMAR...... I believe contents should be strong and powerful rather than writing good english with low quality contents.

Newsflash: formally filing a copyright with the U.S. Copyright Office is necessary only if one wants to be able to sue for punitive damages in the event that one's copyrighted property gets infringed. However, even if not formally copyrighted, one can still sue for actual damages, as there is an inherent copyright in any writing that one publishes.
