Sorry, Neen, sometimes we forget the difference between the spoken word and written word. PhDs in English literature should be able to help you with John Milton. A regular topic in The UK. I am aware that Milton is tough, but not impossible.

No, I am not. I know someone who is. If you cannot find a writer anywhere else at all, you can write to me. But then, you will be able to find many.

if you are can you direct me on what relative ideas i should tackle in my research?
my research is about how milton's blindness effected the light and dark images of the poem (Paradise Lost)and how it serves to heighten his poetic expression.
should i include a comparison between Milton and wordsworth in order to show Milton's superiority in his poem? or a comparison with other blind poets?
i think i should wait for your reply before continuing further. :)
by the way thanks for your comments.

Neen, if your main reference is to Milton's blindness, then I do not think Wordsworth comes into the picture. If there is another question comparing Wordsworth and Milton, that is different. I am sure you are aware that Wordsworth, in the literary world, is considered to be the inheritor of Milton's legacy, although their poetry is wildly different. Comparison with other blind poets might be more suitable.

You need not restrict yourself only to blind poets. You can write about poets like John Clare (was slightly insane later), Robert Southey (had alzeimer), Keats (TB), Colerdge (opium) and Hartley (drinking). I cannot write for you because you need a doctorate for Milton. I have done only MPhil. But if you need points like this, you can write to me at serene2@hotmail.co.uk
Will be pleased to help.
