I am building a website that will offer essay writing services to students. I literally wrote my way through college, and figured that others could benefit from my writing ability. That being said, I began to research other websites that offered similar services. The very first one that I encountered was a site called bestessays.com. I checked their writing samples and was APALLED. I found that every single one of the samples contained errors (often egregious) in grammar, spelling, style, and even content! I decided to contact their customer service chat, and here is a transcript of that chat:
Call accepted by operator Daniel. Currently in room: Daniel.

are your writing samples actually representative of the product you provide to paying customers?
Daniel:

elizabeth:

elizabeth:
did you have the opportunity to read my question? **roughly 3 minutes pass**
elizabeth:

Daniel:
Yes and we provide more good qualities.
elizabeth:
you "provide more good qualities"....what does that mean?

At this point, the customer service rep disconnected from the conversation. Dude couldn't even carry on a proper conversation in English, and when pressed, he just dropped the conversation.
Clearly, these people have no business selling writing services anywhere. By the way, their own webpage is riddled with grammatical errors. Slick formatting and false promises are clearly designed to distract. Sadly, they are duping KIDS out of money.

Sorry to point out your hypocrisy but, it is appalling that you cannot spell the word 'appalled'.
"Egregious", you say. My, that does sound serious.
May I suggest searching this site for previous threads re: bestessays.com, before you continue?

Hi Guys can anyone help me out? I have ordered from UK.bestessays.com and now they are having problems meeting my deadline. This is not the first time it has happened, they have done it twice before. Is there anything I can do abt it except not to order from them again?
They say they are based in Delaware but I can tell from teh accent that they are Philiphino and have even heard them speak taglog in the background.
Is there any legal action which I can take agaisnt them since it states in the gurantee that they will meet deadlines?
Please help I am having a very heavy workload and had to return home for a funeral which has derailed my studies.

That is correct—they sometimes use a call center in the Philippines to conduct their fraudulent transactions.
DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE REFUND. Do not accept their false promises. Do not believe a single word that they speak or type. Do not give them the opportunity to claim that they sent you a product.
