I want to warn students about this company dissertation advice. They claim to be a uk based company and all writers are from and based in the uk. This is not true, the company is actually based in pakistan and the material they provide is the most ridiculous work you will ever read. They profess to offer dissertation advice and an editing and formatting service as well as custom essays for those lazier students. I asked them to edit my masters dissertation that i had worked all summer on, they failed on several occassions to send me the paper as i asked to receive it in intervals and when they sent me what they had done, it was laughable, they changed correct english grammar to american grammar, they re arranged the structure so my whole paper did not make sense at all.
Please i urge students do not use them, i have reported them for fraud to the british trading standards. If your like me and you have worked so hard all summer on a piece of work and want it edited i advise you ask a tutor at your univeristy.

I just looked this comoany up as I hadn't heard from them. The web address is

They have a Bradford telephone number but I couldn't find a registered address on the site. I would recommend that people never deal with any company that doesn't clearly state that it is a registered company and doesn't clearly state what its street address is (ie the address at which the company is registered). That said, there are a couple of essay companies in the UK that do say they are registered and give a street address and are still scammers!
Helena, how did you pay for your order? If it was with a UK issued credit card you may be able to get a refund as there is consumer protection for purchases made over the internet that are not what you paid for. You should contact your credit card company and tell them that what was provided is not as described on the website. The credit card company - if they agree - will then chargeback your account.
If the chargeback is reversed - which can happen - then you need to tell the credit card company that you are making a claim for reimbursement against the card company under The Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the European E-commerce Directive 2002. The card company has to reimburse you and it's then up to the card company to pursue the offending essay company to get the money back.

Could you say who the uk-based companies are that give addresses? I've come across on called 'the essay agency' which gives its address in Bristol but it is not registered with uk's Companies house so I don't know if its legit.

whatever you do, do not go for www.dissertationdom.co.uk - They are scammers. they delivered me an 80% plagiarism dessertation full of crab. Then they agreed to refund me 40% which to me was better than nothing, and although 3 months have passed by they still not have refunded me the money, with weekly excusses that the money will be in my account within the next 5 working days
