I may be a little impatient but it has been over 30 hours since I paid for my order but the status shows a contradiction. At the top of the screen it says that "There is currently a writer working on your order" this was here as soon as I logged in after I placed the order, so I don't if this is true. In the middle of the screen it shows "Pending Approval". My order number is #A2055078. I picked Academon because after weeks of research I read good things on this website from freelancewriter and others.
I've tried the chat link "Talk with writer" and "Talk with Support". The assignment a 25 page case study, which cost a large sum of money was given seven days to complete, 5 1/2 days remain, is there anything else I can do to find out if a writer actually has started working?
Does anyone else have experience working with this site? Please tell me that haven't become a scam site?
I apologize for the paranoia this is my first time using these services.

Hi dragon24,
I'm not familiar with the academon site, but paying up front for something sight unseen always sounds a little risky to me.
I'll be interested to know what the quality of your paper is like, based on the customer service you have experienced so far.
Cheers, earngreatresults

I've been writing for them since 2003. While I've never seen the customer-side view of the system, I can tell you that papers often get grabbed by writers within minutes of getting posted...I do it all the time. It's also pretty common that billing verification will delay the posting of the order. On my (writer's) side, that's a common cause of a paper listing a lower payout than usual (especially for rush papers) because the payment rate (my side, again) is determined by when you place the order, not when it gets posted. The only question is why it would say "pending approval" and "in progress" simultaneously and I don't know the answer to that. But I do know that you're not going to get ripped off because the site is 100% legit. You should just use your system tools (on your side) to direct your question to Customer Service and to confirm that a writer actualy took your paper already. And 25 pages in 5 days is nothing...I have an 8-pg and a 4-pg company paper and a 7-pg private paper to write today for delivery tonight and I'm still going back to bed soon for some more sleep, just to give you an example of how much we (who do this for a living fulltime, that is) routinely write in a day.

Thanks FreelanceWriter for the support, you were the reason I picked the site in the first place. "25 pages in 5 days is nothing" = Awesome. I have my own talents unfortunately putting my ideas down on paper over many pages in an academic format is not one of them.
Customer service 11:40AM EST "The writer was located and assigned yesterday. They are reviewing all material and will contact you if they have any questions."
Very professional so far so good. If the thread is still open I would like to provide a review of the work, if this is unacceptable (site policy) or not the right site, what site would EssayScam users recommend so that other students can judge the quality of the work performed?

Thanks for asking but that sounds like it's a topic that Pheelyks might want to do more than I would.
