They have paid me on time so far, two paydays for a total of $550. I hope that doesn't change. They wired me the money about 5 business days before their listed payday so that I would receive it on time. I could care less if they are based in the Ukraine or Ethiopia as long as they pay me my cash. Those two paychecks really restored my faith in this 'industry', with all the gloom and doom around I almost quit. For now, I'm glad I didn't.

For the last poster, I don't mean to be rude or anything but if the level of grammar and spelling shown in your last message is applied to your essays, I won't be surprised if there would be an adverse reaction among your clients leading the company to hold your pay.

A few casual and objective observations:

1. They made me a premium writer a couple of weeks ago, and I distinctly remember that they had a "premium writer" link (apparently removed) where they elucidated on the benefits on being one. Supposedly, a premium writer gets a higher CPP and could get any order at will. Turns out a premium writer could only get 4 at a time. Still a decent proposition though, as you could get choice subjects without having to compete with others. As for the higher CPP, didn't really notice any difference. Shucks.

2. When you get a repeat customer, you would supposedly get a 20% bonus on the order. I had three repeat customers last pay cycle and I never got any bonus. I'm still waiting word on this.

3. The number of orders have gone down dramatically over the past week. While I haven't really felt its effects as I'm busy with my day job, I am really curious as to why this is happening. I can only empathize with those who write full-time; the lack of choices make it all the more difficult.

4. I have had a pretty decent experience so far with their support staff. However, past couple of weeks they seem to be less visible than usual, and seem to be harder to reach. I wonder what is up.

So there. My Academia experience has so far been generally positive, which makes me all the more believe the "selective compensation" theory I have read in one of the earlier posts. While the intrinsic shadiness is enough to spook anyone (the phone number that is next to the impossible to get through, the empire state building address that has since been removed, etc.) for me the most important thing is that THEY PAY and that it is ON TIME. I will be the first one to post here if they didn't. They really seem bent on staying in the business, and as long as the money keeps coming they're okay in my book.

The semester is just about over for most colleges and universities in the US. Many schools are having their commencement ceremonies in the next week or two.

Yeah? Essaywriters.net owner is Mizyuk, same as Academia-research, so I thought they should have at least the same policies. i work for EW and i have gone from reserver to usual to premium in a month (which should say a lot about how i operate.ahem), and right now, i can take as much as 15 orders at a time. i wonder why its different for academia? :-?

School is out for the moment, which explains the decrease in the number of orders, but classes will resume by August, so heads up!

Good for you! I hope you continue having good experiences with them. just be honest when dealing with these guys because they give an eye for an eye. if you work good, they pay on time. otherwise, say goodbye to your chances of ever getting your pay. sucks for those who cry over getting scammed by EW or any other essaywriting companies they've worked for. maybe they just dont work honestly enough, or maybe they just dont have the persistence to fight for what is rightfully theirs. instead, they waste their energies going around forums narrating their sad stories instead of reserving it for demanding for their pay with their respective companies. *sighs*

About 400 of my orders were repeat customers and I never received the bonus they said they will give us. However, since I am in the process of bringing legal action against them, I am not concerned. I will bring them to their knees in more ways than one.
1) never paid the bonuses which they stipulated
2) Employer fraudulently assumes an alternate identity when speaking to writers (employers cannot do that by law)
3) failure to pay in a timely fashion
4) failure to pay for completed orders
All of the above are grounds for a lawsuit as they are in violation of fair employment laws.

However, will not kid myself and claim that a lawsuit will bring them down - shake them up but not bring them done. So, to destroy their reputation - at least for an extended period of time, I am doing the following:

have compiled a list of 108 students who have submitted work that they ordered via academia (masterpapers, customessays, grandessays, etc. ... all of the names they operate under) and the universities they attend. For each of these students, have prepared the assignment details, as ordered, and the work they received. Will send it to the Academic Integrity Committees at their universities - in other words, 108 students who have had dealings with masterpapers (and all Alex's sites) will get into a heap of trouble. So, plan is to bring them down by having students fear coming near Alex's essay-writing services and by having universities issue warnings to students about dealing with masterpapers, etc.

to those who say just work honestly with Academia and all will be ok - for 3 years I did just that and have received more positive feedback and more repeat customers than any other writer. I can assure you that no writer has anything close to the 514 reward points I accumulated just last years alone. My work is clean and top notch. I am the only writer who wrote for them in English, French, German and Spanish (as a first language, mind you). I always allowed them to talk me back into reconsidering my decision to leave whenever they would act up. However, having been scammed just one too many times by them, I left. No, the longer you stay, the worse it becomes.

Goes to show what a foolish company it is, to lose a writer who worked for them for three years and wrote in four languages!

Thing is, if I have to be persistent in fighting for what is rightfully mine or if I need to reserve my energy to demand for my pay, then this should tell me something isn't quite right about the company with which I'm connected.

Having to 'spread the word' about one's sad experience is also a form of fighting for one's rights and a way to warn others as well. It's hardly a waste if you're able to help keep others from falling for the same ploys.
