Hey, Yuri—you made a direct claim in the other thread. You stated as fact that "all" American companies delay and/or steal payments, like your dirty company in Ukraine. Instead of confronting me directly with the EVIDENCE that I requested, you post a survey? You're a coward.

WhiteSox: Or you are always being paid on time? I once had not received my paycheck (via direct deposit) on the day it was expected. I sent an email, which was answered almost immediately (within an hour or two), and my pay arrived in my bank account the next day, with apologies from the administrator and absolutely no hassle.
On the other hand, while working for a Ukrainian site (UVOCorp, which I complain about on this forum whenever given the opportunity), I have had payments delayed for weeks for a variety of excuses, and even claims that I had been paid when I, in fact, hadn't been.
My favorite was the dispute process. UVO, like many other scam sites, tacks on huge fines at random, claiming lateness and plagiarism when these issues didn't exist. I won every single dispute I ever raised, but if the dispute went past their five-day "payment window," you had to wait another two weeks to get ANY of your pay.
By the way, I have NEVER been fined a SINGLE CENT by the American companies I work for.

And before you jump on this as proof that American companies delay payments, let's make something very clear: mistakes happen, and no one is claiming that they don't. The scam sites, however, show a PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR in making delayed payments their standard mode of operation. With the American company in question, this happened only ONE time, and it was fixed immediately, not denied, drawn out, and repeated.

I am shocked to hear UVO is applying fines at random. This makes them no better than thieves, which is sad. I am sorry those guys are drawing and enforcing a picture that everyone from Ukraine is out there to steal other people's money. That's a disgusting feeling I must say.

Alex20: I am shocked to hear UVO is applying fines at random. Academia-Research, Brownie Freelance, EssayWriters.net, etc., all do it. That is one of the reasons why we refer to them as the Ukrainian gangsters. In so doing, however, we do not mean to imply that all, or even a measurable minority,of Ukrainians are anything less than honest. I realise that we need to choose our words more carefully but, the fact that some of the worst companies in the industry are Ukranian, Indian and Pakistani, encourages the propagation of fallacious stereotypes. Alex20: I am sorry those guys are drawing and enforcing a picture that everyone from Ukraine is out there to steal other people's money. That's a disgusting feeling I must say. I am sorry. We did not intend any disrespect. Please know that we are referring to the Ukranians in the industry (the Yuris, the Eugenes and the Alexeis) and do not assume that they represent Ukranians or Ukraine.
