Hi guys,
I too have been a victim of the great EssayWriters.net scam and as a new writer in this industry, suffice to say that it has left a very bitter taste in my mouth.
I have been approved by AllWriting.net and was just wondering if any of you have written for them?
I've scanned this forum and haven't read much feedback about this particular company. Also, I know this has been asked numerous times before, but can one of the more seasoned writers (MAK?) please list companies that do actually pay.
Thanks!

the rates given by allwriting.net are horribly low, you shouldn't work for those rates. although they will pay you.

Well I got the payment from them but after asking for several times. Also in almost all projects I have positive feedback from the customers. They are not very professional for sure. I will still continue working for them for a while just incase they start paying on time. I do not have much complain on the rates since I did some difficult projects which are high paying.
Thanks Dave

No writing agency pays on time. Some do not pay at all. You will given a thousand and one excuses as to why they did not pay you. Some human beings are too inhuman, the should rot in hell. I hope the owners of 4writers.net are reading this.

Kisii1941: No writing agency pays on time Not true. The good ones pay with great regularity, like any real business.

Sia, we do pay regularly. But I guess by having it posted two years ago, you should probably have learned that by now.
dollarlady, we have a payment minimum, depending on your location and payment preference. For example, if you are from the Philippines and request to be paid by Western Union, you would need to reach $100 to have it disbursed to you, less the transfer fees (we currently waive WU fees for transfers over $200). However, if you register for a Paypal account, there is no minimum amount, we can send two dollars if that is what you've earned within the payroll period.
This "evil policy" has nothing to do with our "corporate greed". Here is the math: To send a Western Union transfer, a company employee has to spend approximately 30 minutes filling out the paperwork to get the MTCN number, not to count the time to drive to the nearest agent office. We love our writers, but we have to consider our resources as well.
Kisii1941, sometimes we are late and here is why. If you were located in the US, we could have sent you a check or a paypal payment. We are never late with them. However, sending a wire transfer overseas can be a hassle: we need to send 50-70 of them a week. sometimes the bankers cannot keep up with the load, some of the wires get delayed by counter-party banks, sometimes the information gets misspelled. Sometimes there are week-ends and national holidays of both countries of transfer. We have a similar issue with Western Union: sometimes there is not enough transfers to visit a WU location on a given day, and it gets postponed making some writers angry. Some of the payment solutions that we offer (like Travelex/Coinstar) do not operate out of the United States, and thus we need to arrange for double-transfers to make your life easier. We have been battling with it for years, and we always try to do our best, even though it may seem like a lousy job to you. Last year we have incorporated an in-house solution that has proven to be very convenient for both writers and the company. Approximately one third of our writers have already switched to use it. I am not going to advertise it here on this forum, but feel free to join Allwriting.net to see for yourself.
Thanks for keeping this website an active discussion place, even though we do not necessarily encourage/support some of the comments and opinions of several members of this forum.

NEWSFLASH: You wouldn't have these problems if you would stop hiring unqualified, low-paid, ESL writers overseas (and misrepresenting them as NATIVE, AMERICAN writers on privatewriting.com[DND*]).
"We employ over 700 Professional MBA / PhD-level writers"
NOT TRUE
You probably shouldn't word-for-word STEAL the "warning" page of another company, either.

WB, personally, I like your style, I enjoy reading you, and I appreciate that you avoid discussing PrivateWriting where possible. I myself tend to stay out of your duels (my post count is a proof), and will tend to keep it this way for as much as possible.
But I would also appreciate if you kept your generic business solutions to yourself.

WritersBeware: Would you prefer that I get more specific about your operations? It this a threat or a friendly poke from Texas? For some weird reason I strangely like you. Maybe it's the amount of sanity in your posts. Angry and offensive for the most part, yet so true sometimes. I feel your pain.
WB, don't spill the beans just yet, the answers are coming. The industry will change soon enough.
