I have only been a member of the forum for a few days and yet it seems that every thread deteriorates to name calling and nastiness within a few posts. Why? What is it with a few who seem to think it is their duty to criticise everyone else? Whatever happened to play the ball, not the man?
Can we have a rethink people? If you don't like the post's tone or content that doesn't automatically mean the poster is a threat to you or someone you should bully. Why not exercise a little more maturity. It seems like some of you never left school, and elementary school at that.
It is one thing to have some fun and enjoy some cutting repartee, but what goes on here is pathetic. How about we all just try and tolerate others and ignore those we feel are jerks. Just for a change?

We don't criticize everyone else. Just anyone that represents themselves as being something other than what they are. For example, people that claim to be fluent in English yet make repeated (and rather strange) mistakes in word usage, grammar, etc. are likely to draw heavy criticism.

I wonder you claim to be a prominent writer but before joining this forum, you didn't even bother to go through some of the posts - to see whether you should join it or not.
